Thyme has quite a strong pungent flavour and can be added to tomato sauces, pizza sauces, soups, casseroles, roast poultry and Italian dishes such as spaghetti bolognaise. Add the dried herb sparingly to start with as the herb can overpower dishes, more can be added to suit.
Cooking Tips: Par boil some baby new potatoes, place in an oven dish, drizzle light olive oil over, season with salt and coarse ground black pepper, and sprinkle with thyme - roast until golden brown, delicious!
